Founded in 1826 by James Allardice in the Valley of Forgue in the east Highland Hills. The GlenDronach claims its place amongst Scotland’s very first licensed distilleries.  GlenDronach Port Wood is inspired by the historical import of cast port into Scotland during the 19th century. We have selected some of its finest port bribes to house the  GlenDronach For a second maturation period, To create a fruit filled expression, With layers of ripe berries, rolling into its signature lingering finish.
